The story is brimming in richly drawn characters that you will want to either love or hate. The minor characters in this story are just as important as the main characters because they are a part of the events that unfold in the story. As for Isabel, her inner battle is one that is understood, even with the fantastical world where vampires roam the streets, battling human society for their place in it. I truly loved this story, and I found myself reading page after page towards its completion.
